Description
Full Service History (FSH) - next service now due. The car has just had four brand new tyres fitted, along with all TPMS sensors being replaced. The car is also fitted with a Towbar.
The car itself is huge inside and ideal for family holidays, with loads of space and comfort. It has been an absolute workhorse for me and has always been very reliable. I have always had it serviced & MOT'd with the same local garage.
Overall, the car is in good condition for its age, with a few minor scratches and marks consistent with normal use. There is a scratch on the rear driver-side door, likely caused by a branch on a country lane. A friend of mine who works in body repairs believes this should easily buff out. There is also a small scuff just below the rear wiper, caused by a pedal whilst on a bike rack, as shown in the photos.
The LED daylight has also dipped on one side. It does not affect the car as it is pre-2018 so does not affect the MOT. However with the issues raised I have heavily reduced the Autotrader recommended price to reflect things you may want to sort yourselves.
I believe the satnav may need updating through Ford, although I've always found the built-in maps outdated and have simply used Google Maps through Apple CarPlay instead.
The car is also currently booked into Blackpool Ford on 6th June for two standard Ford recall items replacement brake lines and an airbag replacement. These are manufacturer recalls commonly issued for Ford Mondeos and will be completed free of charge. You are welcome to keep that appointment or arrange the recall work through your own local Ford dealer instead.
Only selling as my circumstances have changed and I'm moving to an EV, which better suits my current driving needs.
