Description
Selling this car because my wife can only drive automatic, would have kept it otherwise as it's a brilliant family car and has never let me down. Upgraded now to a newer Outlander, automatic. Car was daily driven up to the sale date.
It is a hi-spec GX4 trim model, comes with xenon lights, automatic lights, automatic wipers, reverse camera, leather interior, heated seats and amazing Rockford Fosgate audio system with Bluetooth and factory subwoofer.
I've just spent ~700 to fix the advisories from previous MOT so it's not embarrassing to sell, it has now brand new exhaust, front brake discs and pads, new passenger side shock absorber with coil spring and mount bearing, passenger side steering track rod end, changed rear brake line, recently changed front roll-bar bushings and roll-bar drop links. Receipt for last work attached in photos.
It has surprisingly good fuel economy for its age and size, 44mpg on motorway and 30mpg in normal town driving.
Engine has never skipped a beat for me and I have serviced it every year. Part service history available. Very reliable car.
The downsides: car has been marked as cat N due to minor collision, last 2 photos were taken straight after collision so you can see what was the damage. I have pulled out the front wing, but driver side doors need some TLC. Unfortunately, just now when I was driving the car to wash before the sale, I bumped into light post with rear bumper, such an unfortunate shame, photo of damage to bumper also attached.
Also a downside is that sunroof is only tilting but not opening, it needs a new drive mechanism, motors and controls are working for it, which with parts is about 100 to fix.
And last thing is that passenger side windscreen moulding is missing (20 quid part).
