Description
Up for sale is our 2015 Tesla Model S 70D Dual Motor with Autopilot. We bought this car at auction in early 2025 as our first EV to "test the waters" with electric cars. We enjoyed it so much that we ended up buying a newer Performance Model S, which is the only reason this one is now for sale.
This is a very well sorted example with all the major expensive items already addressed. The battery was replaced by Tesla (battery sticker shown in photos), and the rear drive motor was replaced by Tesla Specialist Birmingham. Importantly, this car uses the smaller rear motor not affected by the common coolant leak issue.
Battery health is excellent at around 7% degradation. The car currently shows 221 miles at 79%, equating to around 280 miles indicated at 100%. Real-world range is approximately 220 miles in warm conditions and around 200 miles in winter motorway driving. Cell voltages range from 3.435V to 3.455V, showing an extremely healthy and well-balanced battery pack.
Recent maintenance includes battery heater replaced in March 2026, cabin heater replaced in December 2025, new windscreen, new brakes all round and four new Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres.
125k miles with long MOT and absolutely no advisories.
Features include:
Free transferable SC01 Supercharging, free transferable unlimited 4G internet, CCS upgrade, Autopilot, power tailgate, front and rear parking sensors, upgraded rear-view camera, 4G modem upgrade, standard suspension, fully working sunroof with no leaks, MCU1, dual motor AWD, 19-inch original alloys in very good condition, next generation real leather seats.
2 key fobs with new batteries and 3-pin charging cable included.
Interior is spotless and everything works exactly as it should.
The car has a small dent on the rear driver's side quarter panel visible in the photos. It never bothered us enough to repair, but for full transparency it's there and could likely be repaired by a mobile dent specialist for around 200.
Well maintained car with transparent history and all the major issues already resolved. Asking price is non-negotiable as it is already below Glass's Guide and AutoTrader valuation.
