Finished in Desigo Diamond White metallic with Charcoal leather piped in white. I have owned this beautiful SL 4.7 V8 for 4 years and have lavished much care and attention on it. It has just been shown at the Laon Historic rally in France where it drew encouraging comments. Sitting alone in the garage for 7 winter-months of the year, it is time someone else took on its upkeep and ownership. This engine configuration is getting rarer to find unless you are prepared to spend much more money and with this low mileage it might just be worth keeping as an "investment"! Immaculately made, the MOT tester thought it was excellent choice, not too noisy but with just the right amount of V8 rumble. It will not frighten the neighbours. However it appears to have released considerably more power (and 35mpg on a run) than the restrictive standard system, just be aware. The underside of this SL does not show signs of any wet weather use and clearly lived in a garage before I purchased it. Serviced at: 8,191, 16,416, 19,921, 21,015, 26,128 miles. Brake fluid and rear pads at 20,124 I also have acquired the original Autocar magazine road test, featuring the full SL range. The original Mercedes handbook and service pack is also present and immaculate. There are a couple of insignificant paint defects that frankly don't warrant attention.
