Very regretfully selling this beautiful example of an MX5 NC MK2. I am the third owner, and have owned it since March 2025. In that time I have only put around 5K miles on it, used only on sunny weekends, and has been garage stored over every winter throughout its life, the condition of the car shows this. The car was professionally undersealed before COVID, and the underneath has not a speck of rust, neither do the arches. As a car enthusiast myself, I have been dedicated to maintain this condition throughout my ownership. It has had regular servicing its entire life, much of it carried out by Mazda main dealer.
Just put 12 months MOT on it, with 0 advisories. As well as a full service (air filter, oil, cabin filter, NGK Iridium spark plugs), and 2 fresh tyres. All four tyres match. It's ready for sale.
Gearbox and limited-slip differential have been serviced in my ownership.
The car drives exactly as it should, plenty of poke, tight handling (due to sport suspension as standard with this trim) and no unwanted knocks or noises. Engine, gearbox and clutch all feel healthy and a joy to operate. Soft-top roof functions properly and seals well.
Spec includes:
2.0 petrol engine (MZR-2.0L engine, making 158BHP)
6-speed manual gearbox
Limited-slip differential
Sport Tech trim, including;
Leather heated seats
Bose sound system
Air conditioning
Cruise control
Electric windows/mirrors
Aftermarket Alloy wheels fitted
Remote central locking
Pioneer DAB and Apple car play stereo added which looks factory and works perfectly. (original radio included) SPH-DA160DAB
Well maintained
Plenty of paperwork and service history dating a long way back.
Clean interior for age, only minimal wear to the drivers seat bolster.
I always have kept the car very clean inside and out, and the bodywork shines up lovely with minimal scratches / swirl marks. A very presentable car.
Sadly, I wasn't given the original alloy wheels when I bought it, however this has never bothered me as they are easy to source and these look much better in my opinion.
Such an amazing car and I am very reluctantly selling it. Only reason for sale is an upcoming house move and therefore I can't afford a "weekend car" anymore.
