I'm being completely honest about this cars condition because I'm not looking to rip anyone off. My daughter bought this mini recently from a private seller for 1,500. Unfortunately we have discovered that it needs new piston rings. As seen on pictures there is an engine management light which is to do with timing chain. We took it to a mini expert who said it's piston rings as it is blowing smoke from the exhaust and would show as the described fault. It drives and is a good clean little car for it age and mileage.
