Description
Reluctantly putting up for sale my Calibra SE9. I originally owned this vehicle around 2004 - 2006. Then in 2022 I spotted it in amongst some Club Calibra site photos, contacted the owner and came to a deal to buy it for a second time.
Since owning it this time around, I have spent quite a lot of time and money getting it looking as it does now -
Bodywork repairs / painting
4 x wheel refurbs + new centre caps
New badges
Mats
4 x tyres
Battery
Alternator
Exhaust
Replacement repeater (still have originals)
Rear number plate lights
New wipers
Full service
New leads / plugs
Ignition coil
Fully machine polished & ceramic coated
The list goes on!
Current mileage is 92600 and it's MOT is valid till March 12th 2027.
2 x keys.
There are a few items that still need doing -
Oil leak from rear bank, I had this looked at, new gaskets fitted but there is still a weep. I believe some 'O' rings should be under the bolts and I don't think these were fitted.
Handbrake is weak but does hold.
Some minor underside flaking, needs a good clean up and repaint. All completely solid.
Headlining has started to sag on the passenger side but not excessively.
Central locking only works from passenger side.
None of the above detract from the fact it is a fantastic looking SE9 which starts on the button and drives beautifully. It could be used as an everyday car still with no problem!
Stacks of paperwork, old tax discs, original brochure and manuals / wallet.
It'll be sad to see it go but unfortunately I need my garage space for another car now.
