For Sale: 1993 Toyota MR2 Mk2 Revision 2 I have owned this car for over 13 years and have meticulously maintained and cared for it throughout my ownership. As you can see from the photos and videos, a significant amount of work has gone into the car. Most modifications have been carried out by myself, while keeping the car largely true to its original character. The most worthwhile upgrades have been the installation of Tein Super Street coilovers and 17-inch Advan Racing alloy wheels, which allowed the fitment of higher-performance tyres. These improvements have transformed the car's handling and grip, both in dry and wet conditions. The car has also benefited from extensive cosmetic enhancements, including a GReddy side skirt, Autopista spoiler, de-badging, upgraded Recaro seats, a Momo detachable steering wheel, Pandora alarm and an upgraded sound system, among other modifications. More recently, the car has been worked on by master mechanic Lewis Jay of Citrix Automotive, who has resolved a number of age-related mechanical issues. As a result, the car is now running beautifully and is in excellent mechanical condition for its age. The only reason for the sale is that I will be emigrating later this year, and unfortunately I cannot take the car with me. Otherwise, I would have kept it and eventually carried out a 3.0-litre 1MZ engine conversion, which offers excellent performance and reliability without the Turbo issues Cars like this simply aren't made anymore. The slim pillars, low seating position, excellent visibility, and analogue driving experience make the MR2 a truly special car. Anyone who has driven one will understand exactly what I mean.
