2006 BMW X5 E53 3.0d Auto Sport - Well Maintained, Great Spec For sale is my 2006 BMW X5 E53 3.0d Auto Sport, finished in a desirable colour combo, still looking every bit the proper old-school BMW. This is the desirable 3.0 diesel 6speed automatic model, known for its strong M57 engine, solid build quality and comfortable drive. The car has a strong road presence and still feels very capable, whether to be used daily, for family duties, towing, tip runs or weekend use it won't miss a beat. It drives well, pulls strongly and the automatic gearbox is smooth. Inside, it has the usual BMW quality feel with a comfortable, well kept practical cabin with plenty of space. Android touch screen head unit with Bluetooth, Apple Car play/android auto etc. It is a great all-rounder with a high driving position, large boot and proper 4x4 usability, while still feeling refined on longer journeys. The car has been maintained and looked after, with various age-related jobs carried out as needed. As expected for a vehicle of this age, it is not a brand-new car and does have some age-related marks, but overall it presents very well and is a usable daily example. I would rather be honest than oversell, it is a solid, genuine X5 with loads of life left in it. These E53 X5 are becoming harder to find in good, usable condition, especially with the Uber reliable M57 3.0d engine. They have a proper mechanical feel compared with newer SUVs and are now getting a bit of modern-classic appeal. Only selling as circumstances have changed and I no longer need a large SUV.
