Bought it in 2011 and am selling it as I am not as mobile as I used to be. I have replaced the chassis with one from the 2cv shop (galvanised) had to do some repairs to the O/S/front body (appear to be fine after 9yrs) some rust at base of A post on N/S/Front rest of body appears to be fine. Hood is about 4yrs old. I replaced the battery last March before the MOT and was told by the tester as it had a chassis the rust was not a failure. N/S/F wing has an area of humps and hollows but is structurally sound. It has an electronic ignition system fitted which includes a vacuum advance(it can be mapped) but that is not something I would do. Unlike many of my 2cv friends I have never broken down on the road. I have a replacement front bumper (much better than the original). The seats have been recovered and most of the canvas and rubber replaced. I have serviced it annually (I use a modern semi synthetic oil) Mechanically a great car would consider offers buyer collects cash only.
