2014 Golf R Manual This car has been in our family since 2018 it has full VW service history 91396 miles on the clock which may increase as this is a daily driven car, and has just had its MOT, it has had new alternator, battery, water pump, thermostat, cam adjuster oil control valves, cam adjuster magnets over the years we have had it. The turbo was changed at 70k. It has a stage 1 APR remap, full APR quick shift kit, K&N panel filter and had an uprated clutch fitted at the time of remap. there is a chameleon blue tint on the front screen which has never affected the MOT. The car pulls hard, starts first time on the button, no engine knocking or oil leaking on the drive. Now for the bad parts: It has now started to burn oil about 1/4 of a litre a week, there is black smoke under boost which clears, good compression on all 4 cylinders, although the clutch was uprated it has started slipping again, the Haldex needs a service again as when under load the front wheels sometimes spin, the drivers front seat has a tear in it, all 4 alloys need a refurb, the drivers headlight flickers now and then and there is damage to the rear bumper on the drivers side rear quarter. Also has 2 chips in the front screen and all the usual scratches and stone chips that come with a car at this age. I have tried to get pictures of the defects best I can. The car starts first time every time and runs so smooth and pulls like a train but we just don't have the time or the funds to get it all sorted so unfortunately it has to go.
