One of the rarest Alfa Romeo Spiders you'll find in the UK. The 2.2 JTS Selespeed was never officially sold here - this is a Japanese market car, imported in 2019, and to my knowledge one of only a handful in the country in this configuration. If you've attended Alfa Owner's Club meets, you'll know how rarely these appear; I've never seen another. This is the 12th Alfa Romeo in our family and has been cherished accordingly.
The car is in excellent condition throughout, with a complete service history from Alfa specialists in both Japan and the UK. The roof is in full working order and has recently been professionally resealed, as well as receiving a replacement ECU and flap motors. It is ready to enjoy immediately in the right weather, and right now is perfect.

The Spec:
The Selespeed gearbox is a paddle-shift semi-automatic: rev-matched, responsive, and genuinely enjoyable to use in a way that a conventional auto isn't. Combined with the 2.2 JTS engine - smooth at a cruise, characterful when pushed - it makes for a distinctive driving experience. The interior is finished in two-tone blue and tobacco leather with aluminium trim, embossed Alfa Romeo headrests, and a driver-focused centre console. All original and unmodified.
Condition:
Exterior: Very good for age. No kerbing to the alloys.
Interior: Excellent. Very little wear visible anywhere.
Roof: Soft top in good condition. Recently professionally resealed. Mechanism in full working order.
Mechanics: Clean engine bay, underside in excellent condition benefiting from Japan's unsalted roads. No warning lights. Starts easily, idles well, drives perfectly.
