Subaru Technica International made some key changes to the handling and feel of this car; Chassis & Suspension: Equipped with STI-tuned Bilstein dampers, a flexible V-shaped bar, and front flexible draw stiffeners to improve turn-in response and reduce body roll. Upgraded Braking: Featured high-performance STI Brembo brakes with specially drilled disc rotors for superior stopping power. Exterior & Wheels: Fitted with 18-inch STI alloy wheels wrapped in larger, performance-oriented tyres, plus an aggressive STI front spoiler. Interior Refinements: The cabin featured exclusive Recaro front bucket seats finished in black Alcantara and leather with red accents, a unique tS gauge cluster, and a red-stitched steering wheel. Drivetrain: While it kept the standard 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine, it featured a specially tuned Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC) system and larger-diameter exhaust pipes for a throatier engine note.
