Description
Absolutely stunning Twingo RS Cup, with ridiculously low miles in incredible condition for its age. Testament to 6 former keepers and myself. These capable little pocket rockets came from factory with 133bhp. Add a performance package by the experts at K-Tech and be amazed at what an extra 30bhp and Bilstein sports suspension translates to on the road. The car is just amazing - grips like it's on rails and when the cams hit around 3500rpm, the feeling and tasteful howl from the pipe as the frantic power band hits is utterly addictive. Purchased new by Mr Bartlett and then also owned by his wife during the cars first 8 yrs - a mature couple who always garaged the car and only drove it during English summers, as they spent winter every year at their holiday home in Thailand.
The car was then bought by John Davis in 2018 who kept it until Sept 2019 when Mr James Gillett of "4 star Classics" cars took ownership. Mr Gillett bought the car to keep for himself, not as a trade investment - testament to the quality and rarity of the vehicle.
According to the extensive provenance records with the car, it looks like Mr Andy Powell bought the car in September 2019 from Mr Gillett. Mr Powell then immediately took the car to K-Tech Racing, RenaultSport performance specialists, where he spent a total of 4967 on their highest performance package for the Twingo RS - Exhaust mainifold and complete 2.5" sports cat steel exhaust system, Catcams camshafts, ECU remap (dyno results report included) and Bilstein RS Twingo Coilovers kit, as well as changing cambelts, dephaser pulley, and water pump. (A digital wheel alignment report is also present). Not content with his newly upgraded ultimate performance small hot hatch, Mr Powell then immediately spent another 1589 on tasteful cosmetic modifications to the car by having the spoiler, mirror covers, and fog lamp surrounds all professionally resprayed gloss black and had standard tints professionally fitted on the rear quarters and tailgate glass, all of which really do set off the car very well and a truly original ownership proposition and a certain future collector car if cared for. Having invested over 6500 on the car, Mr Powell then sold it to Mr Andrew Donovan on 20th April 2022. (Max word count reached - pls contact me for the remaining detailed history to date). Very very reluctantly selling to fund the purchase of a boring estate car I can be less fastidious with. Viewings very welcome. Serious buyers only please :-)
