I retired last year and decided to drive a different convertible each summer. I started with an SLK because I'd always wanted one since I saw an earlier model at a motor show years ago. I'm selling now because I'm looking to 'go classic' this year (maybe an MG RV8). This is a good very low-mileage SLK. I've only put about 2000 miles on it since I bought it in April last year. 7-speed auto gearbox with 'eco' and 'sports' modes, and manual mode - shift with paddles on steering wheel. Heated leather seats (both with electric adjustment and memory), airscarf and harman/kardon sound system. Most recent service in March this year, and MOT updated at same time, with no mechanical issues found. Vario roof (with glass top) works smoothly and reliably. Always garaged in my care, and in very good cosmetic condition - I've had all four alloys refurbished to remove some minor scuffs. More economical than you may think - road tax 190, and I've been getting about 46 mpg. With a 70 litre tank it's got a huge range - over 500 miles. There's a surprising amount of room in the boot with the roof down, so it's definitely useable for summer holiday touring. Not many of these for sale here in north-east Scotland, and I'm happy to deliver as far as Inverness or the Glasgow/Edinburgh area if that helps you.
