We bought this Leaf as an experiment to see if it would fit the bill of someone who wanted an automatic town runaround but didn't have loads of money. It has absolutely delivered on that. This car is definitely not for visiting family or friends who live an hour away. The maximum range when used in anger is about 60 miles which is rubbish. However, it's not rubbish if you have a charger at home, want a cheap auto to go to work or to ferry kids about and actually want some reliability. Most automatics at this kind of money are either terrible cars or ancient. We bought it from a family who had upgraded to a Kia Niro EV. The car has had seven services, mainly from Nissan but a couple from other places. It has a March MOT. The body work is average with a nasty dent on the nearside rear quarter panel. The interior is good though. The three pin plug charger is broken but we have been using 50kW chargers at M&S which don't take long and will do us for a couple of weeks.
