FOR SALE my wife's 2009 Toyota iQ 1.0 petrol. 5 speed Manual. Great car for cities, ULEZ free. 20 Tax. 65 MPG. Turning circle is amazing and so easy to park. 52,000 miles. Low for year. Everything works. No problems. Still feels nice to drive though it's seventeen years old. There is of course the odd blemish but it is very solid, clean and presentable. Always maintained and serviced. Oil change and new ABS sensor just been done. Surprisingly spacious inside, does not feel like a small car. Rear seats drop down. Enough room to load some small furniture in the back. Comfortable, smooth and quiet. Once I had to drive it from Canterbury to Skegness and back in one day and I still felt fine after, not like most small cars where you're glad to get out of them! Did not miss a beat. 1.0 litre engine excellent 65MPG but still very nippy and will sit happily at 70+ on the motorway. Lots of refinements that are usually found on big cars , such as, leather steering wheel, leather gear knob, A/C, tinted glass, USB sockets, CD radio and nine airbags! Also has provision for "Google Car Play" & reversing camera. Always starts, is reliable and does not use or lose oil, etc. Apparently when Toyota developed the iQ, they invested more money than necessary to beat the competition of other small/smart cars. You can certainly tell. Even Aston Martin were involved in design. A future classic that already has an enthusiastic following. MOT til October but I could get a fresh one for the asking price.
