Description

**THIS CAR IS IN NORTHERN IRELAND** A rare opportunity for someone with the time and additional money to put into restoring this very rare 330ci E46. This vehicle is in need of major restoration to get it back to its former glory. Please bare that in mind! The good: Believed to be one of possibly one in this particular spec, if not I'd say there's no more than a few more in the world. Just Google the combo and you'll see its very hard to find many other examples. Sepia Blue Metallic and Arizona Sun cloth interior with purple inlays. Genuine sport model. Legendary 3.0L M54 engine. Comes with book packs and 3 keys. Full V5 present. New battery just fitted The not so good: Vehicle has been off the road from sometime around 2019/2020. Needs a major restoration. Most panels will need a minimum of 3 stage paint correction if not repainted. The 2 front wings and drivers side rear quarter in particular will need remedied. The rear section under the boot lid will need cutting out and replacing (most are the same these days). There is an additional set of kidney grilles with the car. I suspect there's an issue with the bonnet cables as it doesn't close and there's new genuine cables in the back seat The vehicle will start and drive for loading purposes only. The braking system requires attention as there's a fluid leak at the rear and very little pressure at the pedal. Engine has a misfire when first started but idles perfectly after about 1 minute. I am unsure if this is down to old fuel in lines or in need of plugs, coils etc. SRS light is on, likely in need of a resistor or a pyro fuse on the battery terminal. The car has sat for many years so it's had a dead battery for a long time. Will require 4 new tyres due to cracking from sitting, although the tread depths are good. To finish off the resto, the alloys would benefit from a refurb. Underneath has general surface corrosion but from what I can see, it looks and sounds fairly solid to a pry bar test. I have taken the vehicle into the garage and taken as many detailed pictures of all panels and close up of corrosion spots etc to help. Please satisfy yourself with the approx 100 images attached to this ad. If you are wondering if this car is for you, please ask yourself if you are willing to spend a minimum of an additional 2000-3000 on restoration before enquiring. It may take less, it could well take more. Please only contact if you wish to purchase the car or further query.not here for a chit chat
