ULEZ COMPLIANT! Finally decided to part with my X5. Absolutely love this car but last year we decided to move to China and I couldnt bring myself to sell the car before I left as we were unsure if we would be happy living abroad. We decided that the life did suit us after 6 months being there which is why I am back in the UK to sort out some loose ends and unfortunately parting with my x5 is one of them. The car mechanically is absolutely a monster, the engine when turned on is silent, I love driving it, I really do love this car. Heres the bad bits - Central locking doesnt work -body work has some dings here and there but the most obvious is the left arch (in the pic) also paintwork is losing some colour. -Battery is low as I havent driven it for 6 months. Ive managed to jump it and drive it around the private estate for about 20mins but it isnt enough to power the alternator to regenerate the battery so it needs a good belt on the dual carriageways/motorways. -Bluetooth does not work -the mileage display needs changing as its partially showing numbers (sometimes it pops up and fully works for a day or two but its rare lol) Milege is around 71k. The mileage meter only shows partial numbers and I believe to see it properly you need to replace the display. There's LOADS of service history for this vehicle and I think I am the 3rd or 4th owner. MOT I will get in a couple of days, it has been booked in for saturday. I dont want any cash sale, just bank transfer as its the most safest way.
