Volvo S40 2.0i (Mazda engine). New clutch fitted Sep 2024, tyres have plenty of tread, iridium spark plugs, new catalytic converter fitted last summer, full exhaust with resonator delete done in June 2024, new brembo brake discs and brake pads fitted 2 months ago, K&N cold air intake, extensive engine work done by a Volvo garage in early 2024, fluid changes done routinely, new coolant reservoir fitted last month, MAP sensor and throttle body cleaned early this year. These engines are good for well over 250,000 miles (most reliable engines within this generation) and are chain driven unlike the Volvo derived engines. Owned and extensively cared for for almost 3 years. MOT until May 2027. I have recently done a full engine bay clean. Suspension components have been rust protected and a minor oil leak has been fixed as per the recent MOT advisories. Paintwork is great all round with no fading or lacquer peel. Some minor scuffs and blemishes, but I will include a can of colour-matched paint. Some extra bits include: spare spark plugs (lots of life), brand new Volvo centre caps which I never fitted and the original gear shifter. No rust, Volvos are known for having good thick paint and rust resistant, bullet proof body panels. 5 speed manual shifts smoothly, has had a brand new gear cable and hand brake line. The most comfortable car I have ever owned and a fantastic motorway cruiser. Cruise control working perfectly. Fantastic stock sound system. Can include a dash mountable screen with Apple CarPlay and Android auto if required. Aircon needs re-gassing and some drivers side window switches are loose. Other than that this car has 0 faults, and has never let me down. Selling due to wanting a smaller car.
