The RCZ started out as just a concept by Peugeot harking back to a time when it made dynamic, sporty cars rather than the dull vehicles it is now known for. But then they went into production and kept fairly close to the concept. Although many parts are shared with the 308, often the set up prioritises performance. So it is something of a design classic, stunning distinctive looks, surprisingly rewarding performance but fundamentally practical, economical and enjoyable. It may not have the marque kudos of the likes of Audi and BMW but you don't have the cost profile either.
