I'm having to sell my beautiful boy, Chubbs. As a classic car enthusiast and petrol head, I've absolutely LOVED having him for the last four years. But my circumstances have changed both financially and personally so I need to sell him unfortunately. He is such fun to drive with that V6 engine and light body, and with the 4motion (four wheel drive) stabilising you on nice bendy countryside roads. Believe it or not, he's also excellent for fuel consumption in general but on long drives it's even better due to him having cruise control. I can drive to Oxford and back from St Helens on under half a tank. And it's always amazing when people look under the bonnet and see that beautiful V6 sign! He's debadged, so it's a surprise when people see a girl driving a sneaky yummy car! I feel so proud when I'm driving him :) He uniquely has Audi S3 Blue alcantara and black leather seats front and back. I have two keys for him. He's had the majority of work done (stated below) by a specialist in VW and classics in particular who has known how much Chubbs means to me. His May 2026 three piece clutch replacement was done by a clutch specialist centre though. - New water pump and drive belt (Jan 2026) - MOT with no advisories (Nov 2025) - New clutch master cylinder (Nov 2025) - Serviced (Nov 2025) - New steering rack (Nov 2025) Now his flaws.. - The steering wheel makes a screech on full lock - His body has some wear and tear marks from being 24 years old, but no major dents etc (see pics). Same with the seats with one small tear in the drivers side. - Heated seats don't work. They seem to do a constant drain on the battery for some reason, so I've tapped them off to prevent it happening by accident. - The front reg plate and holder needs replacing (non-urgent) due to someone being careless in a car park, but I can do that before the sale if required. I will surely miss him, and he's been a real bucket list of a car to own. The power dropping him into third on a country road when you've had a bad day is just fab. I run a hedgehog rescue which is very long and hard hours at the moment, so please only genuine enquiries for by boy :)
