VW Golf | Spares or Repairs | Reg W336 DRN | 117,822 miles Selling my VW Golf as spares or repairs. The car is not currently drivable and will need to be towed away by the buyer. The good: - Engine runs perfectly and starts first time, every time - Recently fitted new battery - Two tyres in really good condition - Bodywork in good condition for its age, with just a little rust and age related marks. - Last MOT passed 6 August 2025, valid until 5 August 2026 (MOT number 4373 0583 9150) - Only ever 2 owners from brand new. (One lady owner for the first 20 years) The faults (please read before bidding): - The car does not drive. The fault has not been formally diagnosed. Based on photos, a mechanic suspects the rear axle, which could be a relatively inexpensive repair, but this has not been confirmed in person. The buyer should satisfy themselves as to the fault. The car will need to be recovered/towed, not driven away. - Passenger front (nearside) window motor has stopped working MOT advisories from the last test (August 2025): lower brake pipes corroded/covered in grease front and rear; rear lower sub-frame corroded but not seriously weakened; offside rear coil spring corroded; nearside rear lower exhaust mounting broken; nearside front lower suspension arm ball joint has slight play The engine and starting are genuinely strong, and with the right repair this would make a good runner again for a few more years. I'd happily keep her going myself, but I've now got a work car and don't need her, so she's looking for someone with the time to bring her back. Sold as spares or repairs. No returns.
