Description

Facelift Discovery 2 TD5 XS automatic (registered 14/09/2002), presented in excellent condition with extensive recent work and a fully documented history. This is a properly sorted example with all major known issues already addressed. Recently fully valeted and now presented to a very high standard throughout. Galvanised rear chassis fitted (2026) + galvanised fuel tank cradle Fixed any and all other welding during this time. 10 months MOT (no advisories) - till April 2027 Full brake overhaul (brakes, discs & calipers) Automatic gearbox serviced Suspension refreshed (air spring, compressor, sensors, shocks) Steering system overhauled (PAS pump, pipework, steering damper) New alternator & battery Air conditioning fixed and re-gassed. 5x nearly new all-terrain tyres - April 2026 Sunroof fully refurbished (resealed, drains cleared - no leaks) Headlining cleaned and refreshed Front window regulators replaced Door seals replaced Light seals replaced Ball joints, hub and axle seals replaced Engine serviced and maintained Snorkel and rear ladder fitted Ongoing preventative maintenance throughout ownership Mileage: 183,500 Interior: Clean XS trim, well presented following full valet Exterior: Monte-Carlo Blue. Very good with minor age-related marks Chassis: Outstanding - galvanised rear, solid and future-proofed Drives: Smooth automatic gearbox, strong TD5 engine, no issues or lights on dash. Comprehensive folder of receipts included, documenting all work that I have carried out. This is a no-expense-spared example where all common Discovery 2 weaknesses have been properly addressed. XS specification (well-equipped and desirable trim level), including heated seats & cruise control. Drives exactly as it should with no warning lights or faults Increasingly hard to find in this condition with documented work It has been featured in Land Rover Monthly magazines in June & July'26 - re the back chassis replacement and has been displayed at 2x local classic car shows. Since restoring this car, I only use it the occasional weekend as it's not my daily driver, so mileage (currently 183,379) will not increase that much. Happy to have a serious talk about price - it was a stab in the dark based on condition, work done and time spent etc.
