Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 Design AC - 2014 - For Spares or Repair - 126,580 (Please note mileage may change slightly) For Sale is my Mother's Vauxhall Corsa which she has owned since July 2024. In that time she has done very few miles and those have almost all been short journeys. It has had a couple of issues which have been repaired or worked around. - Coolant leak caused by the water pump which was replaced June 25 (oil changed too although cannot find the paperwork for this but think this was around 800 for the work) - Thermostat replaced - Intermittent starting (key turned to start but no crank and no start). This was diagnosed by her mechanic as the ECU (apparently common issue) so he installed a button on the dash (small silver button in the photos) so if it occurs you can engage the starter solenoid directly and the engine starts ok. Note: I sent the ECU to an ECU rebuild company earlier this month to try to get this correct but they diagnosed the ECU working correctly without issue. The engine management warning light comes on with a camshaft position sensor code (P0366). This doesn't appear to cause any issues with the running of the engine, but the engine management light does come on a while after it being reset and this caused it to fail the MOT. There is a ding in the bodywork shown on the photo and the rear parcel shelf isn't ridged anymore and sags. It is also missing one of the wheel hub covers. I don't have any service history prior to my Mother's purchase but in addition to the oil change last year I have just changed the oil and filter. The current MOT expires on the 11th June. It failed the MOT 29th May on the following items - -MIL Light illuminated -Battery not clamped properly -Coil spring fractured or broken Advisory - Track rod end ball joint dust cover damaged but preventing the ingress of dirt (NSF) The engine starts and runs well and doesn't rattle.
