Our car purchased as a demo from main dealer and owned by us since April 2017 needs a new home. Sadly the insurance company says its not worth repairing. The electric convertible roof needs fixing. We attempted to close the roof while we had a big box in back seat and one of the wires has snapped on passenger side so it needs to be repaired by some one who is good at fixing things. The damage we reported to insurance company was snapped wire, slight damage to plastic guide rail and one of the plastic clips at the end of the banana rail has snapped. Unfortunately the quotes the insurance company got to do the repair deemed it uneconomic so they want to class it as Cat N. If you fancy a project and have space then this could be a bargain. You can buy clips and a guide rail online but its a faffy job to do and requires removing interior panels and the full roof. Parts can be found on various sites and there are youtube video that show you how to do it. Unfortunatley this is beyond our skill set. Currently the roof will open with the electric switch. Closing requires manual help on passenger side. Roof does not lock shut so there is a tiny gap at front. We have put s trip of gaffer tape across gap to make sure no water gets in. Also because the roof does not fully close the boot does not open from the outside. You can manually release the boot from inside. Other than that it's in excellent condition, recent MOT and has been regulary serviced and well maintained by us for the last 9 years. Value wise I've listed it over a "grand" less than Autotrader suggests. Any questions please ask.
