Classic rare Merc for sale. Previously owned by an accountant in Wembley for many years. The actual car - the things that matter, like the engine and running gear - is in amazing condition and pretty bombproof, it drives like a rocket. Cosmetically good, but not perfect. Good stereo system (with a tape player!). The vacuum central locking doesn't work, so you need to physically unlock the back doors by reaching your arm in. But it's still a good old-fashioned car. It's an early model with a minimum of complicated extras - for instance, it wasn't designed with remote locking, just a normal key. There is automatic heater control, but no air conditioning. The seats are very large and comfortable. There is no electronic cruise control, but the accelerator pedal is bottom-hinged, and this essentially gives you a form of cruise control, as it's designed so you can rest the weight of your foot on the pedal. Long MOT. Currently priced high as I don't really want to sell it yet!
