Description

Title: 2004 Saab 9-3 1.8t Vector Convertible - , Working Roof, Recent Specialist Service Description: Up for sale is my Saab 9-3 Vector Convertible (1.8t). I genuinely love driving this car, but I've recently been given a fully paid company car, so keeping this around as an extra vehicle just doesn't make financial sense anymore. The Important Stuff: Reg: LK04 YJY MOT: Freshly done in March 2026 with absolutely NO advisories. Peace of mind for the next year. Mileage: Just over 126,540 miles (will rise slightly if driven minimally). Engine & Gearbox: Absolutely spot on. Drives beautifully, pulls well, and the gearbox is smooth. The Roof: Works flawlessly. No leaks, no sticking. Service History & Recent Work: It comes with a partial service history, but it has been looked after properly where it counts. Big Maintenance: Cambelt and water pump were replaced at 99,323 miles (stamped in the book from 2022, see photo 18825.jpg). Recent Full Service (April 2026): Just had a major refresh including fresh engine oil (5W/30), oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, spark plugs, and a brand new battery (Invoice shown in photo 18824.jpg). Saab Specialist Attention (May 2026): Took it to Bagnall Saab / Saab Surgery in Birmingham this month for a thorough check. Had a brand new genuine fuel filter fitted, a replacement convertible hood ram installed, and fresh roof hydraulic oil topped up (Invoices shown in photos 18822.jpg and 18823.jpg). Being 100% Honest (The Bad Bits): I'm not here to waste your time or mine, so here are the 3 main things you need to know: ABS Light is On: The dash displays "Antilock brake malfunction" (see photo 18992.jpg). It's been diagnosed and needs a replacement ABS module. Bonnet Dent: There is a noticeable dent on the front bonnet right by the wiper panel (clear photo provided in 18991.jpg). Age Signs: A few little signs of surface rust starting to show in the usual spots and standard cosmetic wear and tear you'd expect on a 20-year-old car. Aside from those points, it's a solid, mechanically sound modern classic that is ready for the summer weather. Located in Birmingham. No stupid offers or time-wasters, please. If you have any questions or want to come take a look, drop me a message!
