Selling my much loved old car. Going as 'spares or repair' with NO MOT, advised of fixable issues at pre-MOT check. Starts and drove well on recent 20mile trip for MOT. Reluctant sale, realistically priced to sell. I'd do the repairs myself but then I'd want to keep it, and I've no space. 2 previous keepers, I have had for 19 years since 2007 (at 32880 miles). Very little use in last 13yrs due to company car, its been mostly on SORN. Last MOT Nov 2020. It has a design that's stood the test of time. Great to drive, with a much lower driving position than its modern equivalent. Hugs the road with Quattro AWD, manual gears & powerful engine; you feel like you're driving the car, rather than the car is driving you. Was serviced regularly when in use, lots of history available. Last service and use was November 2020. Replacement disks and pads @143450 miles Replacement cambelt and water pump @ 138606 Torquey 180BHP V6 diesel engine, relatively low miles for age, 6 speed manual gearbox rather than problematic Tiptronic semi-auto version, permanent 'Torsen' Quattro 4WD system. Bodywork is good overall, a few minor scratches commensurate with its age; it would benefit from a polish. One or two small blistering paint areas, size of a 5p coin. Alloy roof rails. 5x alloy wheels. No corrosion, these have a fully galvanised body. Half Leather interior in good condition, minimal signs of wear, although the head lining has dropped. Audi SatNav, ESP traction control, Trip Computer, Audi concert stereo and 6CD auto changer, Electric f/r windows, Dual Air Con, Electric & heated mirrors, sports seats with power lumbar adjustment, adjustable leather steering wheel, driver passenger and side airbags, Central locking with alarm and immob, spare key, F/R arm rests, 60/40 split rear seat, rear centre h/rest, rear armrest storage, cavernous boot with the seats dropped. Relatively economical, see specs. Pre-MOT fails: 1.Dashbd warning light is showing. Diagnostic check came up with brakes, plus steering column issue, related to the brakes. The issues are due to how long it's been standing, the callipers part seized on 2 wheels. 2.It needs new tyres all around, again due to the length of time it's been standing. Other issues -Drivers side front window mechanism (I've got a new mechanism and will supply with the sale) -Slight juddering at low revs when idling, not once driving. -Aircon needs re-gas. -Boot lock sticks -MOT advisories from NOV 2020, see photos for details.
