Well Loved, Well Maintained, and Looking for a New Garage I've owned this VX220 since 2012, which in VX220 terms is practically a long-term relationship. Unlike many of these cars, it hasn't spent its life bouncing between owners with increasingly optimistic descriptions. The car has had just 5 owners from new and comes with a full service history. I originally bought it in 2006 , then another VX enthusiast had it for 3 years as I moved out of the UK , I always stayed in touch with the guy . And upon my return was lucky enough to buy it back from him due to him getting married and needing the cash in 2009. It has always been maintained properly, with servicing carried out according to mileage. The oil has been changed every year regardless, even during the years when it covered only minimal miles. For the last six years it has done around 200 miles in total, mainly because another ve It has always been garaged , never been tracked and carefully maintained, and it shows. The car is in excellent condition and comes with both the hard top and soft top. Mechanically, it benefits from upgraded engine mounts and a custom built exhaust system with a 200-cell catalytic converter. I also have the original exhaust, which will be included with the sale. It has DRL's installed in the fog light holes , but also comes with the original fog lights and brackets . It has the complete VX220 Turbo conversion kit. My plan was always to supercharge the car, but like many good garage projects, it remained a plan rather than a reality. The tyres and brakes are both in excellent condition, reflecting the care the car has received throughout my ownership. It has a brand new battery, reverse light and license plate LED lights installed This isn't a neglected project or a car that's been passed around and forgotten. It's an enthusiast owned VX220 that has been cherished, maintained, and enjoyed exactly as these cars should be.
