Peugeot 208 Active 1.0 PureTech (2016) - 70,000 Miles Just shy of 70,000 miles. The last 20,000 miles have been mainly motorway driving. 5 previous owners. The car starts, runs and drives, and has been reliable for me overall. However, it does have some faults which are reflected in the price, so please read the description carefully. Good points: - Full service completed recently - Front suspension/wheel issues fixed recently including the locking wheel nuts being replaced and new front tyres - Spare wheel and original tool kit included - Spare ignition coil included - Bottle of engine oil included - Previous garage records indicate the wet timing belt was replaced at around 50,000 miles - MOT passed and drives normally Known faults: - Engine occasionally misfires on cylinder 2. Spark plugs can become oil-fouled and require cleaning/replacement. The car currently runs and drives, but I cannot guarantee that for the future. All pistons are failing a compression test and it requires diagnosis and repair. - Clunking noise from the front offside steering/suspension area. It passed the MOT and does not affect drivability, but the source has not been identified. - Scrape on the driver's side sill/skirt. - Age-related marks and wear to bumper This is not a perfect car and is being sold with known faults.
