This much loved VW California Coast is in excellent condition. Custom seat covers and floor mats have been used from new, so original seats will be in mint condition. No pets or kids. We're only selling as we've retired and are upsizing to a full motorhome. It has a full VW service history, with last service booked for 11 June 2026, 12 months MOT. Extras we included when we ordered the van from VW include the 17in alloy wheels, metallic paint, front window in pop up roof (great as a sundowner deck - can sit up top with your drink of choice with the front completely open to enjoy the view from on high!), comfort sleeping mat for lower bed, rear view camera, privacy glass, mud flaps, VW original 4 bike rack (easy to load and locks each bike separately). Extras we bought later, and are included in the sale, are a really effective black out / insulation blind for the front windows, leather look fitted seat covers with VW logo, and carpets with VW logo. VW have been building campers longer than anyone and they know how to do it well. Everything just works in a California. The storage solutions, picnic seats in the the tailgate, table in the side door, all save valuable space. The movable bench seat makes the van versatile, sleeping 4 if needed - we tend to sleep in the pop top leaving the space downstairs free to make a morning cuppa, then sleeping downstairs with the top down and heating on if it's really cold (heating can be controlled from the key fob if you can't bear to leave the duvet!). The top loading fridge means you can pack loads in to a small space (and access it even when the bench seat is fully extended). The pop top system is simple (no electrics to glitch!) and the unique sprung bed up top is very comfortable. Water tanks for clean and grey waste are simple to use, with an adjustable tap. The camping control system tells you what you need to know, whether that's water & electricity levels, temperature setting on the fridge, or whether the van is parked level, etc. If you are a private buyer you will be hard pressed to find a better example of the iconic VW California.
