Description

Toyota MR2 Mk3 Roadster - Hard Top Included - New Clutch - MOT Until November Mileage: 64,603 miles (may increase slightly as the vehicle is still in use) I bought this car in May 2022 and have thoroughly enjoyed owning it. It's a fantastic little sports car that looks great, especially with the roof down, and always puts a smile on your face. It drives really well and has been reliable throughout my ownership. The only reason for sale is that I've recently bought a motorbike and can't justify keeping both. Key Features: - Hard top included - Hard top storage stand and protective cover included - Soft top in good condition and does not leak - Aftermarket radio with USB input fitted - Original Toyota radio included with the sale - 2 sets of keys - Owner's manual - MOT until November - No advisories on current MOT - Partial service history Ownership & Maintenance: - Purchased with 51,838 miles on the clock - Only covered around 12,800 miles during my ownership - New clutch fitted approximately 4,000 miles ago (December 2024) - New catalytic converter fitted in 2022 - Alloy wheels professionally refurbished in November 2025 The MR2 is a lightweight, mid-engined rear-wheel-drive sports car that offers a brilliant driving experience and is becoming increasingly sought after by enthusiasts. Honest Description: This is a used car and, as expected for its age, there are some cosmetic imperfections including a few small dings, scratches and an area of rust around the nearside rear wheel arch (please see photos). The headlights have become slightly cloudy with age, which is common on a car of this age. The previous owner had planned to fit a central-exit exhaust and cut the lower rear bumper panel to accommodate the tailpipes. This isn't particularly noticeable when standing behind the car but is worth mentioning for complete transparency. The car also occasionally displays fault code P1349, which relates to the Variable Valve Timing (VVT) system. This is an intermittent issue and has not affected the way I've used or enjoyed the car, but I'd rather be upfront about it. Overall, this is a genuine, enjoyable and increasingly rare sports car that has been great fun to own. With the sought-after hard top, recently refurbished wheels, relatively recent clutch and catalytic converter, it's ready to be enjoyed by its next owner. Viewing welcome and any questions happily answered.
