Description

Renault trafic sport long wheel base crew cab 6 seater perfect runner drives amazing, tow bar, air con, sat nav, alloys etc. The vans mileage shows 185,000 but the engine is not on that. The engine was replaced in late 2022 when the van was at 154,00 miles. This was not some cheap engine from a scrap yard, this was a proper Ivor Searle warranted recon engine for 2400 and with everything else that was done during the engine change it was 7,000 worth of work! So the real mileage on the engine is the difference between 154,000 & 188,000 which is 34,000 miles on the engine. At the same time the engine was done it had the turbo rebuilt, all the injectors replaced, injector sleeves, EGR cooler, water pump, clutch kit, EGR valve & more (see receipts) Since all that in my ownership I've had every joint done , wheel bearings breaks suspension mounts all sorts. Recently had a new EGR valve again, & maf sensor and a service last yr. This van has been amazing for us, I originally brought it for the odd camping weekend so I could fit the kids motocross bikes in as well as them and also tow our caravan. We only did this for one season on and off it wasn't used for towing much as I then suffered an injury/operation which house bound me for a year. The van runs and drives faultless it's like a new van. No unwanted smoke or noises plenty of power recent new MOT with brakes done & top mount, really is a cracking spacious van equip for anything carrying your family while carrying things in the back while towing if you need to. The drivers side window runner is broken It's 40 for a new one I've done it once already then didn't bother again as I hardly use the van anymore. Other than that I can't see anything it needs. Few marks / little dints round the van nothing major it is 13 years old so don't expect it to be immaculate. But mechanically solid and drives lovely first to see will probably buy. **The seats have been properly scrubbed since images I understand that there's others of this year cheaper but understand the work that this vans had done to it is extensive and it's a good egg, all these things that it's had done are things less likely to go wrong on you in future than some cheaper abused work van. I had the tow bar fitted when I got it so I know it's only been used to tow our little caravan for that brief season perhaps 5/6 times. Ideal camper conversion / day van worth putting money in to convert as you know the engine is decent.
