I am very reluctantly selling my 2012 Audi A4 Avant Black Edition. This is pretty much the highest spec an A4 can reach before it can be called an S4. It is seriously well equipped with full leather interior, cruise control, Bang and Olufson Surround Sound (19 Speakers), Audi sports suspension, Audi sports exhaust, Audi flat bottom steering wheel, and 4x Falken Azenis Tires in great condition. All things considered, this is a lot of car for the asking price. In terms of condition, its in great knick and drives like it's only a few years old. It has been well used, but equally well looked after with no expenses spared. I have a wedge of paperwork and receipts for most of the work done, and a full service history recorded in its Audi logbook. PERFORMANCE/RUNNING COSTS The 2.0 TFSI is pretty much the best engine for this era of A4. The petrol is historically a lot more reliable than the equivalent diesel models, and has a considerable amount of life left in it. My local garage looks after a few of these models which have far surpassed 200,000 miles. As well as being efficient, averaging 36mpg, it has 208hp, meaning that when you put your foot down it really goes! It is also ULEZ, so great for driving in London. Full spec Audi Quattro 4 wheel drive system which means it handles far better than the 2 wheel drive models, and is significantly safer in the winter on rain/ice/snow. Its equally brilliant winding down an A road as cruising on the motorway, and the manual 6 speed gearbox is smooth as anything. Very cheap to insure. OWNERSHIP AND REASON FOR SELLING: Owned for 2 years - I needed a slightly bigger car for long motorway drives to Newcastle for work. Consequently, the last 25,000 miles are very much motorway miles. I am now selling, very reluctantly, as I am moving to London for work and have no need for the car for the foreseeable few years, or a place to keep it in the meantime. WORK DONE: Timing Chain (104,000miles) Clutch and Flywheel (102,000miles) FAULTS: Rear windscreen wiper doesn't currently work. I have bought a brand new OEM wiper motor that just needs fitting but I haven't had the time. Spotless Gov MOT history. MOT until 11/26. Minor age related cosmetic damage/a few scrapes here and there/stone chips/alloys are also chipped in places. These issues are photographed above and priced in accordingly.
