Description

This has been in the family since 2006, predominantly as my Mum's car, then my Dad's and now it's with me. In the last 20 years it has not let us down once. Whilst it holds great sentimental value, a 2 seat coupe isn't that useful for a family of 3, so I am reluctantly moving it on. PLEASE NOTE: The private plate in the picture will be removed as it was my father's and of great sentimental value. The car will be sold with its original VX04 ULD plate. - MOT until 13/04/2027 -87,000 miles -Automatic -Good matching tyres (Avons) -New front discs, pads and one new calliper fitted in May -New headlining -Full service history with last service in June 2025 at 85,834 miles -History folder Mechanically faultless. Very smooth and strong engine that start on the button and doesn't use a drop of oil or coolant. The gearbox changes smoothly and kicks down properly. There are no knocks or rattles from any of the bushings and linkages. Even the little spoiler works as it should. Bad points. There is only one key (god knows what happed to the spare), the heated seats don't work (which would appear to be very common on crossfires) and the air con could to with re-gassing. The paintwork is 22 years old and so has stone chips on the bumper, a couple of little car park dings as the paint work is a little faded. Whilst it will never win a concourse competition, it does scrub up well and you can't really tell unless you look closely. The biggest negative and the reason why I am pricing it so low is that it will probably need a patch welding on the back of each inner sill as the last MOT mentioned corrosion in the advisories. Sadly I have neither the time to fix this myself nor the spare cash to send it to the body shop.
