Description
Nissan Navara N-Guard (2021) - 2.3 dCi Double Cab Auto 4WD (190 ps)
The N-Guard is the top-spec Navara, and the main thing that sets it apart visually is all the black trim grille, mirrors, steps, roof rails and 18-inch alloys rather than the usual chrome. It looks smart without trying too hard.
The twin-turbo 2.3 diesel has 190 ps and pulls well throughout the rev range. Tows 3,500 kg, carries just over a tonne in the back, and the seven-speed auto makes it relaxed to drive day-to-day. Four-wheel drive is selectable with a proper low-ratio, so it's no slouch off-road either.
Kit includes sat-nav, dual-zone climate, 360-degree cameras, cruise control, DAB and heated leather more than you'd expect for a pickup. Apple Car Play.
The ride is notably good for a truck. The rear suspension is far more car-like than the competition, which makes a real difference on longer journeys or rougher roads. Euro 6, so fine for clean air zones.
Practical, comfortable and good-looking one of the better all-round pickups on the market before Nissan pulled it from the UK in 2022.
