This VW Caravelle is an excellent family car with Isofix child-seat fixtures in 4 rear seats, and ample boot space even with all 7 seats in. The interior is easily adaptable with the bench seat and 2 individual seats removable so you can maximise storage space or passenger comfort as required. With all the rear seats removed it can be used essentially as a transit van! The middle 2 seats can face forward or back, depending on how sociable your passengers want to be. Rear cup holders, tinted rear windows, sun shades and a removable centre table make it a very comfortable ride for passengers. There is plenty of storage in the front dashboard with 2 glove boxes, a centre console "hidden" box, retractable cup holders with additional storage (ideal size for your house keys) and bottle storage below the centre console. While modern enough to have convenient features such as Android Auto and Apple Carplay compatibility, and electronic sliding rear doors, it has some classic features like a traditional gear stick and manual handbrake. The van also has a spare tyre located underneath. A safety pack of warning triangle, hi-viz vest and first aid kit are included, which are also a legal requirement if driving to continental Europe. The van comes with an original VW "welcome pack", including an exclusive VW branded keyring, pen and trolley token. 4 keys are included for your convenience. Although it is a diesel vehicle this van is compliant with low-emission city zones in the UK so you do not have to pay a fee to enter LEZ cities. A supply of Adblue fuel additive is included in the purchase which should last several thousand miles. While very spacious inside, the van fits into standard parking spaces and is easy to take on ferries, airport carparks and Eurotunnel, making it an ideal choice for holidays and city driving. The height is under 2m which fits into most multistorey or restricted car parks. It is classed as a "car" for the purposes of toll roads. The whole AC system has been recently replaced and works extremely well. The centre console touch-screen interface was also recently replaced. Our family has enjoyed using this car for the past 3 years but are moving on to an electric version. It has been especially popular with the children going to football matches as the rear seat configuration feels like a sociable and luxury ride for passengers. We have also found the ample boot space useful for DIY projects and prams.
