We have owned this car for the past 8 years and are only selling due to my wife moving to an automatic vehicle for her longer journeys. It has been a very reliable car during our ownership and has always been serviced annually and well maintained. A major benefit is that the timing chain was recently replaced by A Reeve BMW Specialist, giving added peace of mind to the next owner. The car is a 6-speed manual and comes with front and rear parking sensors, CD player and Aux Input. It is economical to run, with just 35 pound per year road tax, low insurance costs, and excellent fuel economy. We typically achieve high 50s MPG around town and have seen up to 62 MPG on longer motorway journeys. It would make an ideal first car, a reliable daily driver, or a cost-effective commuter vehicle. As expected for a car of its age, there are some cosmetic marks and dents. Please see the photos which show a dent on the rear quarter panel and some fading to the bonnet. We have chosen to leave these as they are purely cosmetic and have never affected the way the car drives.
