Description
*proper pictures to be added in the next week*
A proper old-school Range Rover that's been well looked after and used as it should be. It passed its MOT last week with fresh work done, so it's ready to drive away and enjoy. Starts every time, first time. As far as I can see it's currently the only DHSE listed for sale, and they don't come up often.
Last summer this was my main motorway car, doing 300+ miles a week without complaint. Drove into and through London multiple times as well as a fair few motorsport events: several runs up to Silverstone and a couple of trips to Goodwood (Previous owner would drive it from Birmingham to Germany). Mileage will continue to go.up slightly as it's still used as a weekend car. It's a genuinely comfortable, capable long-distance cruiser, not just something for short local hops.
Specced as a proper DHSE, it has the electric sunroof, Harman Kardon stereo and electrically adjustable seats.
Work completed during my ownership:
New ABS system (just fitted), brake discs and pads (last year), CV joints, a new tyre, battery, alternator, air suspension compressor, brake accumulator sphere and bumper brackets.
Also done just before I bought it: air suspension bags replaced at the rear.
The M51 2.5 diesel is a strong, simple engine with no DPF to worry about. It pulls cleanly and has never let me down. Like any P38 of this age it's an honest used car rather than a concours example.
I'm moving house and simply won't have the space to keep it. I love this car and I'm genuinely gutted to be selling. I fully intend to own another P38 or RR Classic down the line. For now it deserves someone with the room to use it properly.
No silly offers please. It's priced fairly for a freshly MOT'd, sorted example in a market where good ones are getting hard to find.
