Known affectionately by us, our children, and pretty much all of our friends as The Banana Bus, this car has been part of countless family adventures and will be genuinely missed. If you're looking for a sensible grey car that blends into every supermarket car park, this probably isn't the one for you! But if you'd like a practical, reliable and surprisingly versatile family car with a bit of character, read on. This is a fantastic economical vehicle with the space and flexibility to handle just about anything. Whether it's camping trips, family days out, ferrying friends around, or even moving furniture, it takes it all in its stride. With 7 seats (including two rear seats that are perfectly comfortable for adults), it can carry a full load of passengers with ease. Need extra space instead? The rear five seats fold completely flat, transforming it from a people carrier into a van in just a few minutes. The car has part service history from garages, but has also been regularly maintained by us throughout our ownership, including routine oil and filter changes. Most recently (just two months ago), we replaced the cambelt and water pump. In September 2026, it also received a new gearbox, clutch and flywheel (receipts available), and has covered fewer than 500 miles since this work was completed. The sale is purely because we no longer need such a large vehicle. Our eldest son now drives himself everywhere and is apparently far too cool to travel with his parents! We originally planned to keep the Banana Bus for camping trips, but have since bought a trailer instead.
