BMW M4 GTS | 1 of 30 UK Cars | 700 Worldwide | Personal Collection After eight months in my own personal collection — including two Nürburgring trips — this extraordinary M4 GTS is back on the market as I return to my 997 GT3 for euro/ring trips. It's been an absolute privilege to use, and an opportunity I just could not pass on, given it unlikely we will ever have the opportunity to experience another M4 GTS The GTS is not simply a faster M4 — it steers/sounds/accelerates/rides like a completely different model. BMW M took the standard M4's S55 engine and pushed output to 500hp using a water injection system. The result is 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds, a seriously fast car, but it’s not just speed where the M4 GTS excels, it’s in every department. Its a car you drive with the tips of your fingers and toes. It responds to the tiniest of inputs in a fashion that never feels overwhelming. Quite an achievement. To hit that performance target, BMW stripped and rebuilt the car from the ground up. The bonnet, rear wing, front splitter (fully adjustable chassis mounted) and diffuser are all carbon fibre. The rear seats are gone. Door cards and rear quarter trims are replaced with lightweight panels and front door interior handles, replaced with pull straps. The result is a car that tips the scales around 50kg lighter than a standard M4 — and every kilo saved is felt the moment you turn the steering a degree off top dead centre. The way the car changes direction is incredible. Underneath, KW clubsport 3way adjustable coilover suspension keeps the body pinned and incredibly compliant (with the correct settings dialled) with adjustability that rewards the driver at every level, from spirited road driving to full circuit work. Many suspension comments are GTS specific, from rear rose joints to front billet uprights. A set of new Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2s have been fitted — the tyre the GTS was designed around, and the only correct choice. Finished in white — a far rarer and more individual choice than the standard Frozen Grey/orange GTS livery — this is a two-owner example with a flawless BMW history file from new, every stamp from Grassicks Perth BMW, with detailed invoicing throughout. A recent engine oil and diff service has been carried out, along with a geo check/setup.
