Regrettably putting my MX-5 up for sale as I'm looking to move into something a little more practical. This is a 2006 MX-5 NC1 2.0 Sport with the factory 4.1 LSD and a hardtop included. I've owned the car for a while and it's been a fantastic, reliable example that's always put a smile on my face whenever I've had the chance to drive it. The car has been maintained regardless of cost, with regular oil changes approximately every 4,500 miles, gearbox and differential oil replaced this year, and Denso Iridium spark plugs fitted. It starts, runs and drives exactly as it should. Specification includes a candy blue respray, factory LSD, hardtop, custom mid-pipe and backbox, EBC Greenstuff brakes, Evo 4 Enkei wheels, 5Race roll bar, Eibach lowering springs paired with Bilstein dampers, and a JVC Apple CarPlay head unit. The car is currently on 108, 000 miles and comes with tyres that still have plenty of tread remaining. As expected for a 20-year-old car, there are some cosmetic age-related marks and imperfections around the bodywork. The front lip that was previously fitted has been removed, the air conditioning could do with a regas, and the wheels would benefit from refurbishment. None of these affect the way the car drives. The underside is generally solid for its age, though future undersealing would be beneficial for long-term preservation. Overall, this is a well-sorted MX-5 with some desirable modifications, the factory LSD, and the increasingly sought-after hardtop included in the sale. Any inspection welcome.
