I am selling this car for my daughter. I helped her buy it back in September 2020 when it had done only 36000 miles via 2 x fastidious lady owners (see the service history - including a timing belt change). She has covered another 32000 almost trouble free miles miles in the subsequent almost 6 years. I say "almost" trouble free, but immediately after we purchased the car it developed an auto gearbox fault, and the solenoids were replaced by auto gearbox specialists VMPT of Cannock. Since then nothing of great note or expense - a couple of cracked coil springs - an electric window motor - and an ignition coil - and, of course regular routine servicing. Overall it has been a very reliable and economical car, and is now only being replaced because I am replacing my wifes car, and giving my daughter the existing car which is a bit bigger and newer than the Renault. The Renault has just passed its MOT for another year and has a couple of advisories that are simple fixes should you wish to have them attended to. The MOT history checks out to prove the very low miles (around 3500 pa) is genuine. The car starts and runs extremely well, and everything is working as it should. It is a 20 year old car, but has only done the sort of mileage associated with a 4 or 5 year old car, so hopefully it has several years of further life to offer. Obviously it has a few scuffs scrapes and dings (see photos) commensurate with its age, but mechanically it is excellent and has been very well maintained throughout its life. It has provided my daughter with cheap reliable motoring. There is nothing to suggest it shouldn't continue to do so for several years more with careful sympathetic use. We are offering the car at an attractive "no haggle" price for a quick and painless sale.
