Description
It is basically the perfect combination of all vehicles you may ever need. It can easily convert to a family SUV for your school runs or a mini bus to carry around your extended family members or a van for transporting goods or a capable off-roader for weekend adventures.
We have had this extremely versatile car for more than 2.5 years as the second car of the household. Only covered around 12,000 miles in this period and never let us down. Since there is a company car to be delivered soon, unfortunately we don't need it anymore.
Everything works as it should. Regularly maintained under our ownership. Rear tyres replaced first thing when we got the car. Rear brake discs and pads recently replaced. Cambelt had been replaced before us with evidence on the service book. Body work in good condition. Inside trim is immaculate with no tears on the seats or no damage anywhere.
There is a slight coolant leakage on the diesel burning cabin heater pipes for which I was quoted by an independent LR specialist for around 250 pounds. Since it is a slow leak, I didn't spend the time to get it fixed. I just add coolant to the tank every now and then. Another thing to note is this usual intermittent suspension warning which occasionally prevents you to change the ride height when it pops up in the dash but does not affect the way how the car drives at all. I was told fault is due to the potential moisture in the dryer section of the compressor exhaust. There are kits available online to renew the silica dryer granules and o-rings in the compressor for around 20 pounds if you choose to do it yourself. I was planning to do it myself but couldn't find the time. Both issues are reflected on the asking price.
