Here we have a reluctant sale of my well cared for and very little used Mercedes GL. I've owned this car for just over 11 years and only covered approx. 20K miles! Only used for occasional family trips/holidays and annual trips to the local dump with my trailer filled with garden waste. I simply can't justify keeping it taxed and insured anymore. If you want maximum interior space, luggage capacity (van like), towing ability and comfort then this is the car for you! Oil and filter changes have been carried out more on a milage basis rather than time as it is not used for short journeys. The engine runs perfectly and the car drives just as it should with no issues. There was a factory recall a few years ago which resulted in the car having a new brake servo fitted (all free by Mercedes) New wiper blades front and rear just fitted then off for MOT where it passed with zero advisories. Pirrelli tyres all round approx 1/2 worn. Factory fitted Oris detachable/lockable towbar (13pin electrics). 20" Alloy's. Awesome Harmon Kardon audio, rear entertainment screens Pull out luggage/load cover. Custom fit rubber boot liner. Polished alloy roof bars lockable with 2 keys. The only issues I've encountered in my ownership are, front suspension air spring leaking ( both sides replaced) and a front ABS sensor (also replaced) parking sensors are a bit vague but the rear camera is fine and better anyway. As you can see from the pictures the car cleans up beautifully and is fully valeted inside and out, the only let down is that the sun appears to have caused the paint lacquer to crack/craze on the upper flanks, if you can live with that or know a good body shop you will have a fantastic car with many more years of life left in it!
