UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY.... Very original, un-abused example of a classic 1991 3 series 318i convertible BMW. ONE previous elderly lady owner purchased new in 1991 (Original bill of sale included) and lovingly used and kept by her for approximately the next 30 years. It was part of her estate when she sadly passed away and was acquired by a car dealership who didn't register it but used it as a display piece in their small showroom! It was recommissioned (not much needed just some basics) and purchased by myself in August 2025. I have carried out a few very minor additional repairs (sticking and cracked soft top release lever, failed hydraulic struts that hold up the soft top cover lid, and a slightly slipping fan belt needing tightening). I have used it in dry weather only since and it's been garaged by me all the time, as it was by Enid, the first lady owner. So it's been garaged for its entire life. As a result the paintwork, cloth trim, interior, glass, soft top etc looks almost like it's just rolled off the production line! Other than some very minor signs of very small touched in stone chips and minor wear and tear it's in astonishing condition for its age. Starts, runs and drives on the button. There is a huge wedge of receipts and serving history (see pics), owners handbook and folder, two keys and almost all the previous MoTs. It's a very base spec, uncomplicated model just as it was when purchased, NO nasty add ons or mods. It receives comments, smiles, pointing and waves almost every time I take it out, more so than any other car I've owned. BMW "Brilliantrott" brilliant red paintwork, black (original) hood and rear window and all original glass reg number etched. Interior is superb, the grey sports cloth seats show virtually no wear and the steering wheel is mint. Radio aerial works but radio has been removed (still got it) due to poor fitting. I've replaced it with a slot-in storage panel. Very reluctant sale, BMW club registered car. Located in the Vale of Belvoir midway between Nottingham and Grantham. I am NOT a dealer or trader, the car is owned, registered, taxed/insured to me at the address you'll view it. I'm no expert either but will try and answer any questions as best I can. I want it to go to a good home, to someone who will keep it original and continue to look after it.
