Priddys Motor Company are delighted to welcome back this Range Rover Velar 3.0 Si6 V6 R-Dynamic HSE, showing 53,433 miles. We recently supplied this Velar to its last owner, who returned it after barely 1,000 miles because his wife simply could not get comfortable with driving a vehicle of this size. There was no fault with the car and no disappointment in how it drove; it was purely a case of it not suiting their circumstances. Before that, the previous owner had kept it from 2022 and was genuinely reluctant to sell, only making the decision because living near London meant an electric vehicle had become more practical. Since coming back into stock, our General Manager used the Velar over the weekend and came extremely close to buying it himself. He enjoyed it so much that he was ready to press the button, but personal circumstances meant the timing was not right. That is a meaningful compliment from somebody who drives a wide variety of performance and prestige cars, and it reflects how strongly this particular Velar impressed us. I had a similar experience the first time I drove it. I climbed in without checking which engine was under the bonnet and initially assumed it would be one of the more familiar 2.0-litre diesel models. The specification suggested it was something different, but the real giveaway came when I pulled away from the junction at the top of our road. The immediate response and supercharger note made it obvious this was not an ordinary Velar. The 3.0-litre supercharged V6 produces approximately 375hp and completely changes the personality of the car. It is exceptionally smooth and comfortable when driven gently, but the response and sound when you ask more from it are genuinely impressive. The Velar already has a low, wide stance and a more road-focused feel than many large SUVs; with this engine, it has the pace and composure to match the styling. The specification is equally strong. Heated and cooled front seats, massage functions, electric memory adjustment for both front passengers, adaptive cruise control, Meridian surround sound, heated steering wheel and the tilt-and-slide panoramic roof make it a particularly comfortable car to spend time in. The leather-wrapped dashboard, Union Jack-pattern seats with white stitching and carefully finished cabin give it a far richer feel than the more basic Velars we commonly see, while the reversing camera, parking assistance, power-folding mirrors and forward alert make it easy to use every day. Its condition is another major reason we were so taken with it. Our independent inspection company completed its usual two-hour appraisal and considered it a straight-up retail vehicle requiring no unusual preparation. The wheels arrived without damage, the front end shows remarkably few stone chips for the mileage, and the overall exterior presentation is exceptional. The interior has a few minor age-related marks, but remains a smart and well-kept cabin overall. The service portfolio begins with regular Land Rover main dealer maintenance from new before moving to DS Automotive, a respected Land Rover specialist, under the longer-term owner. It was serviced annually there in 2023, 2024 and 2025, with oil, filters and spark plugs all recorded at the appropriate points. We inspected the car and replaced the wipers and air filter in February 2026, and before sale we will carry out a further oil service, brake fluid change and inspection. Annual road tax is also only £200. The brakes remain in healthy condition and the car is completely standard. More importantly, it drives with the tight, responsive and unusually sporting feel that first caught us by surprise. Having supplied it before, driven it extensively and nearly kept it within the company, we know exactly what this example is like. Velars this clean, this well specified and fitted with the supercharged V6 are becoming increasingly difficult to replace. LB67
