Description

With a heavy heart I have to sell my Lotus. I've had this car for just 12 months but unfortunately my back issues are causing me a lot of problems. I need something more touring so we can go further afield. The car is truly superb and the smiles per gallon are insane! This is without a doubt the most fun car I have ever driven! The bodywork is fantastic with just the usual tiny stone chips up front that you cant see unless your really looking for them. The Fabric removeable roof is in pristine condition. The engine is the Toyota 1.8 2ZZ-GE VVT and it really sings. Get the car up to 6700 RPM and it'll take you rapidly on another journey all the way up to 8000RPM. Weighing in at just 840kg apparently it'll get you to 60 in 4.9 Seconds. It Idles absolutely perfect and has benefited from a recent Service. The service included Oil and oil filter, Air filter and 4 new spark plugs. The brake fluid was changed in 2024. The gearbox is 6 speed and is also faultless. I changed all 4 tyres last year for Yokohama Advance A052 at a cost of about 1K. The tyres are something else and totally transformed the cars handling. Wheels are in great condition but the rear drivers wheel I unfortunately scuffed pulling up to a fuel pump on my first day of ownership. It has 3 former keepers with myself being the 4th. The car has full mot and Service history so the very low mileage of 28500 can be verified, it all tally's up. there are 2 service history books and all the services are stamped. I've got loads of paperwork and its great to have 2 sets of keys and alarm/immobiliser fobs. The second set has never been used. The car is totally standard with the exception of the rear view mirror. For some reason Lotus decided to put a massive mirror in which blocks loads of view so i purchased a tiny suction cup one from Amazon for about 8 quid. I still have the original one and it just clips onto the mount which is still stuck to the windscreen. The Brakes are awesome and the battery is good and holds a charge for about a month. I'm located in Solihull West Midland in the B90 area. Any questions please just ask. Thank you
