Description
Great run around, very economical on fuel. Only one previous owner that had driven 42k miles in around 9 years.
New timing belt / water pump and front brakes & pads fitted at 56,660 miles.
Partial service history and some stamps are missing. Car was last serviced with last MOT but didn't have log book to stamp.
There has been an intermittent warning light which comes up on the dash, saying: ASR disconnect, ESP unavailable, hill start unavailable. This doesn't seem to impact driving and clears when you restart the car. It's very intermittent and no real pattern to when it happens. I assume it's a sensor of sorts but have driven the car for around 12 months with no real issues.
We have also had a recent (around 2 weeks ago) EML come on which appeared as a fuel fault but again, once cleared was fine and hasn't come back on. I did take the car to the garage who suggested this might have just been a mismatch in revs / glitched the car and therefore went into limp mode to protect. May need further investigation.
There are some minor bodywork defects as you'd expect with a car of this age. Small dent front 1/4 passenger side, small scuff on paint work rear 1/4 passenger side and small paint chip on bumper. Alloys do have minor scuffs and one hub cap is missing.
Car is otherwise a good and reliable runner. I drive it up and down 25 miles a day to Colchester. Selling as I have purchased a new car.
